Dave Theune

Dave is an actor/writer/improvisor/comedian living in L.A., and is in love with UCB.

After graduating from UW-Milwaukee with a major in theatre, Dave studied and performed with Milwaukee ComedySportz for eight years and also traveled weekly to IO Chicago to study and then perform with his Harold team Children of God.

In 2009, Dave moved to L.A., where he won The X-ecution improv challenge at IO West. He currently performs with the main company at L.A. ComedySportz, and at IO West with his improv groups Orpheus Roy, and the all-Milwaukee group, Old Milwaukee.

At UCB, Dave can be seen performing improv on Harold Night with his team Bangarang!, and sketch on Maude Night with his team Bonafide. Other UCB credits include, Midbest, Cagematch, Not Too Shabby, Let’s Do This!, Sketch Cram, Quick and Funny Musicals, The Year in Improv, and various Spank shows.

On a different note, he has been on/in HBO’s Funny or Die, a few commercials, several Funny or Die and College Humor internet vids, and a re-enactment show where he played a husband who left his wife in the hospital to go to a rock concert.
