Question 1

Is a quick, 5-minute adjustment enough to fix acute back pain or severe muscle spasms?

Accepted Answer

When a joint is restricted, the surrounding muscles lock down in a protective spasm (neuromuscular guarding). Adjusting the joint provides temporary relief, but if those hypertonic muscles are left unaddressed, the protective spasm loop re-engages—causing the joint restriction and pain to return within hours. By incorporating filiform dry needling to directly reset the muscle spindle reflex alongside gentle Impulse iQ® computerized adjusting, we break the pain-spasm cycle from both sides, allowing your body to stabilize and heal faster.

Question 2

How does Impulse iQ® computerized instrument adjusting differ from traditional manual cracking?

Accepted Answer

Traditional manual adjustments rely on manual force and joint twisting, which can irritate acute, freshly inflamed spinal tissues. Impulse iQ® instrument adjusting utilizes computer-controlled micro-pulses (measuring spinal motion in real time) to gently restore joint mobility without cracking, popping, or over-stimulating sensitive nerves.
